Art Osberg, MD began his career with NES in 1981 as the Southwest Regional Medical Director. In 1984 he made the transition to Southeast Regional Medical Officer and continues to hold that position today.
 
As Regional Medical Officer, Dr. Osberg assists the on-site Medical Director with any clinical, operational or personnel issues. He also supervises and evaluates the Emergency Department medical staff.
 
Dr. Osberg's expertise allowed him to serve as the medical director of Urgent Care Centers for NES and also as Regional President. Dr. Osberg also holds the position of Medical Director for Columbia Marion Community Hospital while he remains a full-time Emergency Medicine physician with NES.
 
Dr. Osberg received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina and is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Osberg's professional activities include: member of the Florida Medical Association, member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, affiliate faculty - Florida Chapter of the American Heart Association
